Bulletin: Buffer Time for Airport Pickups
We understand that travel plans can be unpredictable. To ensure a smooth pickup experience, Customers include a buffer time with every flight arrival.
- * What this means: A buffer time is added to the flight's scheduled arrival time to determine the pickup time.
- * Example: If your flight is scheduled to arrive at 2:00 PM and you request a 30-minute buffer, the pickup time will be 2:30 PM.
- * Purpose: The buffer accounts for potential delays in landing, baggage claim, or other unforeseen delays, reducing stress and wait times for you.
How it works
- Customer provides the flight details (airline, flight number, and scheduled arrival time).
- A buffer duration (e.g., 15, 30, or 45 minutes) is selected and applied.
- The system computes the pickup time by adding the buffer to the scheduled arrival time.
- If the flight arrival time changes, the buffer-adjusted pickup time updates accordingly (subject to any latest status notifications).
Quick Calculation of Pickup time
- * Scheduled arrival: 2:00 PM
- * Buffer: 30 minutes
- * Pickup time: 2:30 PM
