Yes. We monitor flight arrival times closely to manage timing and expectations for a smooth pickup. Here’s how it works:

  • Monitoring: We track the customer’s flight and monitor for delays or early arrivals.
  • Arrival alignment: The driver aims to match the pickup with the actual flight landing time, adjusting the pickup window if the flight is delayed.
  • No-show criteria: If the flight is cancelled, lands at a different airport, or arrives the next day (instead of the same day), we treat the customer as a no-show unless we have explicit alternative pickup instructions from the customer.
  • Contingencies: In cases of cancellation or major changes, we notify the customer and proposed alternative arrangements (e.g., rescheduling, different pickup point) based on the latest information.

Drivers must log in to their driver account (Login: https://driver.limowide.com) to view assigned jobs, check history, and receive updates.

Bulletin: Buffer Time for Airport Pickups

We understand that travel plans can be unpredictable. To ensure a smooth pickup experience, Customers include a buffer time with every flight arrival.

  • * What this means: A buffer time is added to the flight's scheduled arrival time to determine the pickup time.
  • * Example: If your flight is scheduled to arrive at 2:00 PM and you request a 30-minute buffer, the pickup time will be 2:30 PM.
  • * Purpose: The buffer accounts for potential delays in landing, baggage claim, or other unforeseen delays, reducing stress and wait times for you.

How it works

  1. Customer provides the flight details (airline, flight number, and scheduled arrival time).
  2. A buffer duration (e.g., 15, 30, or 45 minutes) is selected and applied.
  3. The system computes the pickup time by adding the buffer to the scheduled arrival time.
  4. If the flight arrival time changes, the buffer-adjusted pickup time updates accordingly (subject to any latest status notifications).

Quick Calculation of Pickup time

  • * Scheduled arrival: 2:00 PM
  • * Buffer: 30 minutes
  • * Pickup time: 2:30 PM

It is mandatory to use the driver app because necessary evidence must be stored to avoid customer disputes in case of a no-show. Drivers also use the app to capture No-Show evidence and utilize GPS tracking for accuracy.

It is mandatory to contact the customer before flight arrival, minimum 2 hours before, or at least once the flight lands

Flight arrival needs to be monitored

If the flight lands early, please send the driver as per the pickup time mentioned in the booking.

If the flight is delayed and the arrival time is later than the pickup time given in the booking, send the driver as per the arrival time.

For an airport pickup, the driver should reach the location when the flight lands

If buffer time has been added, the pickup time equals the flight landing time plus the buffer time.

The driver must wait for 60 minutes.

After waiting for 60 minutes, the driver can make it a no-show and will be paid.

Yes, if the customer agrees to pay extra waiting time after the initial 60 minutes, the driver can continue to wait.

If the booking is a customer no-show, it must be marked in the app as Customer no-show, and evidence must be shared.

The following proofs are mandatory:
  • GPS Screenshot showing IN time and OUT time.
  • Parking ticket showing IN time and OUT time
  • .Sign board picture held in the airport, including a selfie.
  • Display Board Picture.
  • Call and Chat Logs screenshot.

We need to store mandatory evidence to avoid customer disputes in case of a no-show. Even when drivers wait with a name sign, customers may overlook them, assume there is no driver, and opt to take a taxi instead.
